Does anyone know who makes a 3" catback system for a '99 Ext. Cab 5.2L 4x4?
I got a set of mopar durango headers with a 3" exit on the y-pipe. I'm hoping they'll fit in a dakota so I can run 3" all the way back. The pipe from the y-pipe to the muffler will probably need to be replaced by a muffler shop, I'm assuming. I bought a 3"in/out carsound cat for it already.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on this plan. For one, why does the durango have a 3" catback and the dakota only a 2.5". Is it a torque thing? I'll have r/t heads, m1 intake, k&n fipk - 3" should be fine.
