Subject: Radio Upgrade IP: Logged
Message: Purchased 2001 Quad SLT from lot with upgrade stereo in it. (The one with cassette, CD, 3-way equalizer) Can you believe this doesn't have controls for a CD Changer on it! I'd rather not go with the FM modulator...has anyone swapped out for the 2002 Dakota in-dash 4 CD Changer?

Message: I have a 2001 Sport. I have installed an aftermarket single cd head unit w/changer controls. Not to hard. Your stock radio probably has wiring for steering wheel controls, don't hook up unless your now radio has the same. Also if you have the Infinity system from the factory, you'll have to locate the amp turn on wire for the system and wire it to your new head unit. If not you won't have any sound.
