Subject: Lack of fluid flow - Tranny
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 99 5.2 Dak. I have read the stuff about the check-ball in pressure line for trans. cooling. So I thought it would be good to monitor the trans. temp with an in line gauge. After installing the gauge, I didn't see any response on the gauge.I drove 30 miles and the lines to the rad. are cold. I just got done cutting the top line (pressure line) before the flexable rubber part and removed it. I can blow through the removed part ( rubber ) both ways no problem. I then started the truck with pressure line cut and was expecting fluid to spray out. NO FLUID at all! Anyone experience this before?
