Has anyone experienced a better acceleration when you let off the gas (slightly) from Wide Open Throttle?

No, but it might be possible.

Most stock WOT fuel calibrations are set way rich so staying just out of WOT could make more power by keeping the engine in a less rich condition.

This is why most aftermarket chips and flashes actually reduce fuel at WOT to make more power (contrary to popular belief).

Also, your TPS might be way off. Check your TPS voltage output at idle. It's usually between .3v-.7v from the factory. There's no set voltage just an approximate voltage. It's not adjustable from the factory, you have to modify it. SpeedTweaks recommends .72v for optimum throttle response. I tried it and found it to be more responsive at betwwen .55v-.60v but, many guys on this forum have claimed that .72v worked for them. Here's the link for the mod:

They don't say it but, after you're done reset your PCM by disconnecting one of your battery cables and turning your ignition key to start for about 20 seconds then reconnect the battery cable and start up the car. Don't touch the accelerator pedal, just let it idle for a minute or two then you can drive it. It'll take a few hundred miles of normal driving for the PCM to relearn your parameters. Good luck!
