Subject: 4.7l backfiring @ full throttle IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 4.7l cc with a 360intake and MBRP cat back. Since I installed it about 2 years ago I get a little backfire at full throttle as the tranny shifts. I can't hear any vaccum leaks in the engine compartment so does anyone know why it would be doing this? Also, it seems to give me a little kick in the arse when it backfires...can someone explain this to me? It's so annoying because people can hear the awesome throaty sound of my exhaust and then it sounds like someone's ripping arse...really makes the heads turn.
