Jeez, you guys are making us look like country-bumpkins! You have trucks but they don't run, hehe. I'm picturing the guys reading this stuff getting visuals of trucks up on blocks outside a mobile-home with grass 3ft tall in the woods somewhere, haha!

I think a meet would be cool, but I personally will have to wait until I can get some spare change. Been out of work all week due to a nice viral infection of my respiratory system. Damn viruses can't be treated, you live with 'em until they decide to leave. It sucks.

Actually I got to thinking, and what the heck, why not? Would enough people be intrested to have a get-together though? I mean if it's just my father and his truck, me and my truck(s), and one or two others, would it be worth the time? I think if we had a small group turn-out it'd be fun though. I'd like to show off the route I am going with my truck, as well as see what routes other guys are taking with theirs. The only real problems I see are where we would meet and what day we'd do it on.
If anybody wants to do this, talk! It would HAVE to be a weekend for me with my hectic work-schedule, and probably a Sunday. Sundays I am off regardless. I'll look at a county-map tonight (since I'm not sure where exactly Rowan or Catawba are) and see where the central location between us lies, just in case. Let me know what's up, people.

Sounds good to me and I can definitely empathize with not knowing where people are. I'm originally from N.Y. and all I know is how to get to my jobs in Charlotte. I live in Salisbury, exit 75 on I-85. I'm about 40 or so miles north of Charlotte if that helps. Good Luck with the orginization of this get together.

You're not the only one in Salisbury with a Dakota that's from NY.
My Bro-in-law lives in Sals. and he's originally from Utica/Rome area. His next door neighbor has a Yellow 318/5-spd with Chrome R/T rims on it. My Bro-in-law has a red 2003 4.7 Dak with Flows.
I'm up there ocassionally in the Durango, but don't care to ride in the regular cab Dakota all the way up there. I have though for other events like Mooresville dragstrip, and then we had a all mopar truck dyno day in Charlotte at Underground.

Gee sephiroth, it looks like this thing could really happen. I think a sunday works for me and this sounds like a great idea. Now, any ideas where to have our lil get together? Need something centrally located in the approximate middle of us, anybody got a map? :P

Alright, from what I can tell, we've got guys on each half of the state, so if we want to get together sometime, why not meet halfway, somewhere around Raleigh or maybe slightly west of Raleigh? I live in and know Raleigh, and could find us a good spot around here, and there's plenty of places to eat or fool around, or even relax. I'll wait to see what everybody says before I start burnin' fuel looking at places for a truck-meet.
