I was thinking this poor guy is really going to buy this kit. Then I read the rest of you post.

I think everyone with a 4.7l would have that combo if those numbers were correct.

1) Everybody knows that to opent he exhaust on our engines, we need to change the constricting y-pipe behind the manifold. Everything farther back could be ten feet round and give little or no gain.

2) Looks like the same thing K&N sells for MUCH less, a cold-air induction setup. Want to blow even less money, just do the smart thing and get an open-element housing like I did. It allows even more air in, although without a hood modification to allow cool air in, the air going in is a tad warmer.
