Message: ok ive looked on here forever for a "how to" homebrew intake for a 5.2 litre ive seen all kinds for a 4.7 but obviously the 5.2 is a "little" different so if anybody could knows exactly what u need it would be great. oh and i do some off roadin from time to time so if yall have any info on how to keep that intake clean that would be good too thanks yall

Message: Go with an open element Edlebrock filter assembley with a K and N filter. It will give you the most power. Check out fast4x4.net, he has ran and compared several filter combinations, including the tube type with the cone filter on the end. The open element K and N makes the most power. I will back up his claims, I was running a colr air tube with a cone filter and just today switched to a open element K and N. I getting more power compared to the previous setup.
