 Subject: Hypertech and exhaust questions

Has anyone used the power programmer on a '00 R/T or similiar? Was curious what kinds of gains could be expected from these things. Also was thinking about changing exhaust to side exit in front of the rear wheels. Does anyone know the name of the mufflers with the tuning discs on them, you adjust your backpressure and sound level by adding or removing disks. I can't believe I forgot what these are called, having a bad brainfart right now.

Supertraps are the mufflers with the changable discs. But the sound in my opinion is horrible. Thats just me......I have programed the Hypertech on my '01 R/T, it allowed me to do 3 things, change my top speed to 125, change the rev limiter, and adjusted timing for 93 octane.
As far as performance, Hypertech says 21hp on the dyno. To be honest, hard to tell right now, I did the programming in conjunction with my 1.7RR install. Wanted a big bang for the buck all at once. I can tell ya the HP is there, just dont know how much 'till I get it dyno'd.
