Message: I get the feeling California sucks for vehicle mods. I saw a friend at the tire shop and we were talking motors. He said he was going to exchange a motor in his s-10 pick-up. Just a stock exchange nothing fancy. The other motor ahd some trouble. Well, it turns out you have to get permission from the DMV and have a 'referee' examine the truck and approve the new motor. Fck california, I have lived here all my life and this place is totally screwed up now.
CARB and wacked policy is the norm in California.
