 Subject: Water Pump

I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota 5.9 engine. The water pump went bad. How hard is it to change the water pump and how long does it take. Anyone with any help here it would be greatly appreciated.

It's not a technically difficult job, but it can be a pain in the butt. Take your time and pay attention to detail. Use zip lock bags to keep track of your fastners. Try taking some digital photos before you start, and then again as you take stuff off. Makes it easier to to put things back together if you forget where they go.
