Subject: How to Gap a Plug? IP: Logged
Message: Im about to throw down $10 for the 3923's and had one question. How do you gap a spark plug? I know the 4.7L should be gapped at .040, anyone tried anything else.
I have a air intake and exhaust, 180 t-stat if that matters regarding fuel air stuff.

Message: Get a spark plug gapping tool from you local auto parts store. Also you can check the gap with feeler guages or a spark plug gap thingamabob...hehe

Message: Unless you get a high performance ignition system or get super charged, stick with the factory specified gap (should be on a sticker under the hood). Most likely its a .40 gap.
