i just baught a 2000 dakota quad cab w/ the 5.9L. what could i add modification wise for some more power without spending too much money. i dont know much about dodge/mopar was a ford guy til that piece died.

Do a search on this, particularly in the "Performance" board. Over the last few months there's been enough posts about this to keep you busy for a few days trying to read it all.
In particular, read about programmers, exhaust, cold air intake, and throttle bodies.
