Subject: Need Help with my A/C IP: Logged
Message: I have a 97 dodge dakota and my ac just stoped working. I thought that it ran out of refrigerant but when I hooked up the gauge it showed that I have pressure but I am getting no cold air. I looked at the pressure when the compressor turned on and the pressure drops drastically, not to zero but close. I don't know what is going on or what is wrong but any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Message: You probable have some, but not enough Freon. If you don't know how to ensure it has the proper charge, take it to a place that can check it for you.

Message: I had the same trouble. It is definetly low freon. Does your compressor cycle on and off rapidly? If it does, then it is low. There is a leak somewhere.
