Like I said it came fast right out of the box. It's a damn 4x4.
A good truck, but I have some very big issues with the dealership. This is my second truck in less than 2 years I sold the 02 v6.

I hear you on the dealership issues. Like I've said here before, I bought my last Ford truck used for 1/3rd the price of my 04 Quad with no extended warranty whatsoever at 4 years old and almost 40 thousand miles. And despite that I feel I got a whole lot better customer service than I'm getting from my current Dodge dealership, from which I bought a brand new 25 thousand dollar truck.
So far they have send me away twice with rotors warped so badly you can see the steering wheel shake violently from the passenger's seat of the truck when braking and wheels so unbalanced that cruising at 70 mph gave me a better hand massage than pleasuring myself ever did. The company line all along? "He ran it up and down the turnpike and it drove smooth as brand new, he couldn't find anything wrong." The truck could be on the verge of vibrating its way off the damn road and they'd still say this.
I still love the truck, but I think maybe Im dealing with a lower breed of tech. After my 3/36 is expired they probably will never see me again for anything other than warranty repairs. My private mechanic is way more competent.

Sorry your dealerships suck but its not the trucks fault. I fortunatly found a great dealer to get my truck from. The guy installing the aftermarket leater broke my passenger side seat adjuster and the dealer offered to fix it under warranty after the leather guys blew me off. They also offered to give me a rental car... cant complain about that. Best thing about america is the free market, just take your business elswhere if they suck then they will go out of business of the money grubbing management will get fired.

The dealership is divided into two, sales and service. Ubfortunately the service side is undermining some good people in sales.
Yes you heard me right the sales part of the operation is pretty good. That damn lip service department is just plain lazy, I think their problem is they don't have people experienced enough to do the work, or not enough who know along with some flunky oil changers.
The next closest Dodge dealership is in salinas about 30 miles away.
