Subject: 93 518 no oil pressure... IP: Logged
Message: I have a 93 dak that looses oil pressure. It will hold pressure for a few seconds but then it drops off. I have already replaced the oil pump and the oil pump driveshaft. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Message: It has the no oil pressure clatter (lifters) after it has run for a few minutes... I have been told that the cam bearings could go out and cause the low oil pressure problem.

Message: DO NOT DRIVE IT. I did cause i had to go somewere and know my truck is sitting in my drive way with a blown engine due to no oil pressure for a few miles. I was told by a shop that it was just a sensor malfunctioning, but they were wrong and now i have no vehicle.
