Message: If you are going to make a post like that, please at least get the facts straight. There was no 5.2L in 2003.

Message: Stop with the flase posts. I don't know who you are and I don't care. You're obviously here just to pick out every little detai you can say is racist to pick fights, and now you're making pathetic teenage cock-jokes without any knowledge of the subject. it is VERY obvious that you are an adolescent, and if you ever hope to get anywhere in life, I suggest you put down the keyboard and start studying. It's not being 'held-back' when you can't get a decent job due to flunking out.

Message: I have the same 'POP' noise also.
When I have the steering wheel cranked all the way to the stop and then go over a bump.
going forward- wheel crankied all the way to the left.
going in reverse wheel cranked all the way to the right.
just one sharp 'pop'.

Message: I had the same noise and thought maybe my ball joints were fried too. But they greased the steering bump stops and it went away.

Message: I'd try jacking up one side at a time and seeing if there's any play in them. If they wobble, then it probably means the joint is bad.

Message: it could also be a proble with your torsion bars(if yours is four wheel drive)Theres a rubber bushing between your torsion bar mount and your frame towards the middl of your truck. You might have to replace it.
