Ran 16 flat in my Shelby Dak at Island Dragway in NJ this summer. The engine is the original 116,000 mile 318. It does have true dual exhaust, headers and the stock TBI bolted to an Edelbrock performer manifold. It would have run quicker, but it wil spin the tires off the line, even lunching at idle.

The engine has three cylinders making 175 lbs and 5 making 17 lbs of compression and it burns no oil. Thinking about rebuiling it, but want to run a 36o TBI, but cannit find one.

I just bought a 1991 dodge Dakota with 209700 miles
on it every thing stock v6 5 speed manual, and its in
horrible condition with front end damage but only
cosmetic I can do 0 to 60 in less then 4 seconds if I
get my shifts right , from a stop in first I can get up
to about 45, then I throw it into second and get up to
about 65-70 I haven't actually timed it but I know my
truck will average a 0 to 60 time of between 4 and 6
seconds with proper shifting long story short
DON'T BUY OR RACE A AUTOMATIC!!!!!!! LOL
