That is because they are a range cooler and are not listed for the 5.2 but work very well for them.

Most definately use Autolite. the Champions SUCK big ones, Autolite is the best in my opinion, been using them for years on end, I tried Champion and motors ran like crap.

If the 3923's from autolite, aren't as long as the stock plug, whatever it is,

It will lower your compression!! more space=lower compression

I haven't gone to a new plug yet, but I'll damn sure make sure that its the same plug neck length!

lower the compression by abour .01 of a point. The plugs make 4-5 more hp on the dyno.

The extended tip spark plug was pioneered by Autolite. It keeps the deposits burned off during low speed running thereby helping to eliminate fouling and misfires.

The correct Autolite for the 4.7 is the 5224.

I know I am beating a dead horse here but: What about the platinum options, regular or double platinum? Are these any better or just a waste of money like most things? My old car only ran on double platinums, but I don't know this engine that well. Thanks, Grady.
