First time posting: I have a 91 Dakota LE with a 318 and 8ft box and 300,000+km on it...I've towed, I've skidded logs (yes- it's actually used as a truck)....I've had electrical problems, and a blown tranny @250K....but this girl don't owe me nothin'- great truck! Any other high mileage V8s out there?

I had 167K on a 93 before broadsiding a gmc truck. I replaced it with a 91 LWB with 100K. I put the 93 engine in it after a rebuild. It was still in good shape when I rebuilt it. The 93 318 has a lot more torque than the 91 did. I tow a large farm tractor.
