Message: So last week I'm driving along minding my own business and all of a sudden my heater fan stops blowing in all speeds other than high. I pop into the dealer and without even looking at my '01 Quad Cab (4.7 4x4) the receptionist says its my Resistor???? Funny how that could be diagnosed without even looking. She says no recall or service memo. Now yesterday the high speed fan stopped working so I'm without heat, defrost, or anything (the AC light still comes on). Anyone have any ideas?

Message: Take it back to that receptionist and ask her if she will let you put your resistor into her fuse box.

Message: The receptionist was right. I had the same problem on my 95 Dakota. Part was only about 8 bucks & took about 2 minutes to install.
