Subject: jack IP: Logged
Message: I just bought a 1999 Dodge Dakota sport. It has a jack but no handle to raise it. Does anyone know where I can get one? Thanks for your help/

Message: the lug wrench is the handle if you are referring to the stock jack. Replace it with a 3 ton pump type and save yourself a headache when you get a flat. Those stock jacks take 1.5 hours to change a flat and they are cheaply made and prone to tilt as you jack them. And carry and appropriately sized piece of wood to set the jack on. And if you get a way overweighted jack you can use it on the jobsite for other purposes like fixing those warped floorjoists under your house. Just my $.02
