Yor new 4.7L more than likely has bigger 16" wheels and tires than your old 3.9L which probably had 15" wheels and tires.
that was your statement and sentence with no editing by me. the whole thing implies wheel and tire diameter.
do youself a favor and be much more precise.

Do you ever feel as though argueing on the internet is like you have entered the Special Olympics, after all the racing and running is done, and all the awards are given out, ol whip is still a backtrackin want to have it both ways but cant, retard. why do I say this? in the past week he has denied saying many things on here after being called out to the falseness of what he has stated. so far this weekend he has been involved in disinformation and flame wars on at least 2 other threads.

Whip ol boy do me a favor would you? Leave the disinformation to the Democrates and republicans would you? You aint no politition.

99DAK,
It is possible that his 3.9L Dak had 3.23's, but it is highly unlikely. DC changes its gear ratio availability from year to year. There were some years that the 3.23's weren't even offered. I know that for most of the years from 1992 to present the only Daks that had 3.23's were V8 5spds. They may have slipped a year in there somewhere and let the 3.9L have 3.23's but I doubt it. I know all the Gen2 V8 5spds could be had with 3.23's. The reason they offer 3.23's with the 5spd and not the auto is because of the low first gear and the lower OD in the 5spd. So, that pretty much eliminates 3.23's as an option. No factory optional tire would make a truck with 3.92's cruise at a lower RPM than a truck with factory tires and 3.55's. So, now we have pretty much eliminated 3.92's as an option. That leaves us with 3.55's...

Now, you have to ask yourself, if you have anything else better to do with your time than to argue against straight logic?

The example I gave above is a shortcut version of the "Scientific Method" which is based on deductive reasoning. Most problems can be solved this way. At a minimum, the scientific method will lead you in the right direction for finding the problem. Since the individual that posted this thread left out 50% of the vital information needed to answer his question, all we can do is draw conclusions and the "Scientific Method" is superior to the "what ifs" at drawing a conclusion.

No, that was my point, we CANNOT draw any reasonable conclusions with so much of the pertinent information missing.
BTW, is "pretty much" a scientific term?
