 Subject: oil pressure specs.

I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota with a 5.2 V-8 and the oil pressure gage reads in the marked srea on the gage.It goes up to a little over the middle when drivingover 40 and drops down toward the end of the marked area at idle when the engine is at operating temp. Is this a normal oil pressure?

The oil pressure at idle should be over 9psi or the light will come on. Anything over that is considered in spec.
