Subject: programable pcm's??? IP: Logged
Message: I just swapped out my 5.2L for a 5.9L in a 97 dak. Thing is i need to reprogram the pcm for the bigger motor, but can't find any info on how to go about getting it done.NOBODY offers a pcm for a 97 dak with a 5.9L. All I can find is performance pcm's for a 5.2L in the 97. Does anyone out there know where to find a programable pcm for these trucks or even know how to compensate the fuel problems that come with doing this swap?

Message: yes i did call hypertech about a week ago and the only thing they can offer is the power programmer III, which even they will tell you only calibrates your pcm thinking there is a 5.2L in the ride. will help a little but still does'nt do the job. And by the way, who is dave at chrysler and how do i contact him?
