 Subject: Cutout questions?

When you run a cutout on a R/T does it effect the 02 sensors in anyway. I was wanting to run a cutout, but i was worried that the sensors might mess with the computer. Being they wont be in use? Is it something to worry about, or does it not effect it?

It depends on where you are putting the cut-out and what year your truck is. Basically if the cut-out is going to be bypassing flow to the O2 sensor then yes there will be problems. If the cut-out is down stream from the O2 sensor there should be no problem.

you shouldnt have problems with tripping codes if you put it before the cat. everything will work properly as long as the second sensor reads cleaner than the first.
