seeing the other post on a boss... i had a flash back to my first car a '68 mustang fastback , red and with a boss 302 and posi. owned mostly mopar since, except my 2nd car was a '72 torino with a cleveland 351... blew the newer shaker-hood 400 firebirds down. what's your first???

my 1st was a 79 pontiac sunbird.loved that car.wrapped it around telephone pole after a hard nite of drinking.dui.learned lesson the hard way.
2 bugs,2 79 t/a's(400/4spd)various 4x4's and now dakota.

I started small. A 92 Cavalier with a 4 banger. Then a 1998 Dakota with a 3.9L, and now my 1999 R/T. Seeing I seem to go up two cylinders every time I get a new car, I guess a Ram SRT-10 will be the next logical choice. ;)

Came straight from a 95 Ranger 4-banger to my Quad 4.7. I DOUBLE cylinders when I move up. So where the heck else do I have to go next?

first car 1976 Datsun 280Z. Loved it I was fourteen .Car was mint I thought it was a go cart.It never made it to the road . Hear are my other cars in order, 1979 Lincon town car , 1969 chevy truck, 1994 firebird {only lasted 6 months crash},1989 heavly moded Mustang GT, My first dak a 1997 Black dokata Sport V8 club cab {the first one on the lot},1989 nissan Maxima, 1990 Nissan Pathfinder, 1994 Nissan sentra, 1984 cutlass, 1982 mustang,1972 mint AMC javailin, 1986 Monte SS Lots of mods , 1988 BMW 320I, 1984 monte ls. My two current cars 1994 Lincon Town Car with 69,00 miles , And my baby 1998 R/c dokota 5.2 5 speed 147,000 . I can say that I loved them all. some or no longer with us may they rest i peice.

yea, my mustang was not original, i owned it in 1973 and the fender badge said 289.. i had a real nice '69 sattelite but only the 318.. fixed that a few years later with my '69 roadrunner, 383m

Wasn't the base engine in the 68 a run of the mill 302, I have had one 68 and it was a 302, and several 68-69 torino's and some had the 302, no 289's.

not sure about base but some real nice models had a very respectable 289 high perf. i'm sure posi was an option.. i also had an 8-track player, still have it, still works....
