SO you drag race your pickup truck regularly and put stresses on it that it was never designed for and actually had the nerve to be questioning your service manager about why this happens, like you're all innocent and only drive the truck to church every sunday?
All I can say is you be one ballsy mofo. Considering you yourself seem to have a history of frying drive line parts on vehicles, I really have alot of trouble seeing how you can blame the truck for this. If it were me I woulda kept my mouth shut and driven out with my new rearend happy that they hadn't figured out what I regularly do with my truck.
Maybe you need to smarten up and get a spare vehicle to mod and beat up on instead of regularly frying drive train components on your daily drivers. This is a PICKUP TRUCK. It was not designed to do burnouts all day, it's built to haul stuff.

Well-put, eddy. Thing is, down here where I live everybody drives like it's Nascar. If it's the same out where patch stays, he's only driving the way he grew up. I mean I can be at a stop-light with a car o each side of me and accelerate with the pedal half down (that's FAST and HARD), and people still go flying by me like I'm not doing anything. You can hear the engines literally screaming, and half the time you hear burn-outs at the lights. Hell, I saw an old lady in a Grand-Am SS and she burned tires at every light, but was not showing off! She just drove that way. Face it, 90% of our population only knows full-throttle or stop. Wow Seph!!!! By the sounds of that webpage, the only way you'd be happy is if the entire world did everything your way and acted exactly like you. Boy, wouldn't that be fun? I think you gotta turn your magnifying glass around for a little while, learn some tolerance, and maybe chill out a bit. Just my humble opinion of course, though. And, personally, I drive like a country bumpkin when I'm not on the track ... just lettin' everyone else do their thing (within reason -- I really couldn't avoid suing that blue hair that backed into my truck).

No, I'm actually easy as hell to get along with. Thing is, when I see something blatantly stupid, I ***HAVE*** to make it known. I mean the driving habits of others pisses me off. Stupid things.
Here's an example from Sunday night. I was driving out to meet a friend and do some cruising in the truck. Now, after you get off 540, you go down a small hill to a four-way stop-light. Directly across the intersection on the right is the gas-station we met at. Now there are three lanes coming from 540 to the light. One is for left-turns only, one straight, one right. Some idiot in a Benz was in the right lane, stomped his brakes, cut behind me and into the left lane. I start going across the intersection and press my brakes to slow down so I can turn 90deg into the gas-station (doing that at 45mph would probably flip the truck). This f***head cuts back in behind me and gets so close I can't even see more than half the roof on his car, and then has the f***ing balls to lay on his horn, so when I get to the turn I'm doing maybe 20mph. I stomp it and stop dead in the road and all I hear behind me is screeching and I can see smoke in the rear-view mirror. Then as I pull forward and start into my turn, this dumbass has the gall to spin his car around the left side of myt ruck and try to cut me off, like I was going on down the road or something. I just casually drive into the station and park beside my friend John, get out, and watch that dumb f*** spin-out and drive off.
It's people like that, that piss me off so badly. I mean I had my signal on and was braking for the turn, and he'd already swirved around behind me. There was no need to blow the damn horn like I was just going slow or something. Then who the hell does that guy think he is trying to spin around in front of a 6000lb truck? Had I been going forward I'd have crushed that tiny-azz Benz. I hate idiots like that!! However, seeing how angry he was made me feel good for the rest of that night and the next day. Maybe next time he's in a damn hurry he'll think twice before being a jerk-off.

I didn't mean to start a nasty insult war. I simply was wondering if there was other cases like mine or was I a solo act. That 4.7L runs extremely well for its size and the transmission hasn't given me a lick of trouble. The fluid looks like new still! This is amazing after my abuse. Go Dodge! I do have a racecar but it costs so much to run it that sometimes I resort to my Dakota. Much cheaper. Besides Veronica (my racecar) is sick at the moment. Jumped time I think. Veronica is a blast to drive and will run low 12's and high 11's, but I get more pleasure when my mid 15 second truck puts a full on race car on the trailer. Bracket racing really does level the playing field. Go Dodge!

All though I agree with your view on other drivers, You fall into the same category the moment you jump on your brakes to "show them a lesson". You then become part of the problem.
I also take exception to your view on AMD processors. You should really do more research before you publish a page with such misleading and outright wrong information.
MMX is not in elumation. The technology was licensed for used by AMD from Intel. Amd added some instructions to that and now have MMX- Extended. 3DNow! and the other forms of instructions in that line are not emulated either. They are instruction calls that are available for a programmer to call upon to give low level access to the processor. AMD has also lisenced SSE from Intel. That is also not emulated.
AMD is the ONLY desktop chip to process 64 and 32 bit instructions natively. Intel has to emulate 32 bit code on their 64 bit processors.
Even though you work (worked0 for CompUsa and BestBuy, do not fall for their propaganda. Use independant sources.

Excellent response Bowtie. Thank goodness, because I'm just too tired this morning. The "becoming part of the problem" hits the nail right on the head. Not much different than the inner city gangs "teaching each other a lesson". Some people are just too damn proud. Ridiculous. I'm just thankful to get from Point A to Point B safely .... "teaching someone a lesson" just compounds all the problems out on the roads today (and in society in general). Oh well .... the vigilante mentality usually gets their lesson handed to them anyway in due time. Just a couple weeks ago, I saw two gentleman in suits in a parking lot get hauled off in cuffs after trying to "teach one another a lesson" via their driving antics. Was quite entertaining.

Hey, I admit it ain't right, but if the damn cops won't stop idiots like this, I sure as hell will. Why do you think I'm looking for a set of push-bars? I fully intend on getting on the tail of the guy that does 45mph in the left-lane on a 70mph road.
As for the AMD, it shows lack of knowledge on your part here. I never said 3DNow! was emulated. It's AMDs stuff, they don't have to emulate it. And at the time of my posting that particular thread, MMX ***WAS*** emulated. It is no longer emulated, but that doesn't matter. Another thing in that thread was how I am not anti-AMD. I know which is better for what, and 90% of the computer-buying population does not. AMD does make a good chip aside from the higher temperatures, but where they fail is power and extensions. I've seen this when using AMD chips, when programming on Win32, and when using Intel chips (not Celeron). AMD has probably the best home-server chips in existance. Using a P4 for a Linux (not X-Win, I said LINUX) server is just plain stupid. But I won't get into this here. Point is, when I posted that back in the day, it was 100% accurate.

Nope, see I've been trained on both AMD and Intel chips. The base architectures define what a chip is best suited for. AMDs are godly under Linux. Intels are the best for multimedia and gaming. I mean come on, AMD has yet to break the 2.5/2.6GHz barrier and I'm using a 3.5GHz chip! Then they lie about the speed to attempt to sell the chips to pigeons who don't know any better. Take for instance, the 1800+. It's a damn 1.4GHz chip, CLOCKING 1.4GHZ ALL THE TIME. It can process more data at once than a P4/1.4, but it does it at 1.4GHz! People don't understand that and thus think AMD is faster and therefore better. Wrong! I even proved this the hard way with the help of a friend.
Got my friend and his P4/1.8 over here to prove this same fact to my roomy and his XP1800+. One of the newer Star Wars games ran decent on the 1800, but it ran smooth as silk on the P4. If the AMD 1.4 was really as fast as the P4, why the hell couldn't it keep pace? it did in all the benchmark software, but the reality of the matter is that the AMD, while a GOOD chip, is 100% slower than what they label.

I am usually just a ghost on this site, but every damn post I read Sephiroth always has a solution to everyones problem. Either that or speaking of his life and accomplishments. I am so glad there is someone that visits this site just to say that everyone is a waste of breathable air for the "smarter people",and call everyone -kiddies-. Actually I've had three years Army ROTC. I was a company commander when all was said and done. Thing is, I also don't fear saying stuff that's easy to prove.
Take for instance, 9/11. Did you know that several major game (PC and console) manufacturers recalled games (FS2002 and Spider-Man) just to remove the twin-towers? What, am I so damn fragile that when I see the things in a pixelated world I'm going to start crying and then sue the creator? WHATEVER!
Yeah, it was a bad thing, I totally agree. Thing is, rather than mope around and cry about it, why not go over there and kick that SoB's azz? America to me is a joke, and why I do plan on leaving in the future. We're behind in EVERY technological field, our economy is RUINED, and the dumbest morons are the ones in power while a good majority of people with half a brain are unemployed.
I'm going to add to my rants page now so that I ca explain in FULL detail why I feel the way that I do. Honestly, I'd like somebody like you to read it after I finish it, and then tell me where I am wrong. I don't mean argue here, I want to hear from somebody who still has some patriotism left in them.
