just got off the phone w/carquest they recomended the 3924's. i gather from here 5224's are the ones to go with. whats up with all the discrepancy.

Autolites suck. When I switched from Autolites to Bosch Platinum 4's and felt the difference, I'll never touch another cheap Autolite or Champion again.

I disagree with the autolites suck comment. I changed from the stock champions to autolite 3924s and couldnt be happier with performance and gas mileage. And, the price is right. I put them in a 1995 5.2L so results may be different for the various engine displacements.
