Just trying to catch someones attention.
Hello,
Does anyone have a good used valve cover for the right side of the engine where the PVC valve goes into? For about two months now my truck has been leaking slowly from the valve cover. I thought it was the gasket and after I took it off there are two small puncture holes in it. Looks like a screw driver or something. Anyhow, I need a valve cover and I live in Austin Texas. Any one have one? Please email me if you do at

I won't be able to help you (I live in Austin too), but someone you might want to contact is Bernd, he runs www.speedtweaks.net . He would be our local Dakota Goru. I usually don't check this message board, but here's an idea: is it bad enough you couldn't hammer the holes kinda flat and then JB weld the things for temporary until you can get to a junkyard?

New valve covers run about $50 for the set. You can order them for just one side if you need to from the dealer.
I can get one for you on Tuesday if you need it that quick.

Bernd- you quote dyno's on your website. Is your dyno at your shop?,,or do you use someone else's? I want to run mine again, and I think your prices were better than Colvin Automotive's.

I sublet from ProTech. They're dyno is brand new and I get to run it myself (making sure that everything is setup properly).
