Where can I buy a new or used (excellent condition) floor console for my '99(light grey interior)? I'd prefer a '99 or '00 because I like the design better than the newer ones. I currently have the middle seat but I want to swap in a floor console when I get new seats. I checked with my local dealer and it I would have to order it in peices(nine). The price was so high the parts guy didn't quote me a price, but did recommended to look into an aftermarket company. If anyone has a suggestion on obtaining a dakota center floor console let me know. Thanks in advance.

I have a 2001 quad cab. I too wanted the kind of deep console that my 99 had. The dealer said it would be just over $200, but didn't say anything about pieces. It sounded like it would be one unit. One of use better check with another dealer. Gene

the floor console cost 210 when you buy it brand new when you buy your truck so im sure it can't be any higher than that.

I am checking for a console also. I bought a '04 SXT Quad Cab without the console. The single cab trucks at that dealer had them. I have had 2 dealers tell me the exact same thing about ordering in pieces. The option in 04 was $70. I have been able to find one console so far. It came with seats (which I don't need) and was for a 00 with a manual or floor 4x4 shifter. I could also use some help with this.

Dan, the floor console is sold only in pieces not as a single unit. Ebay or a junkyard are the only ways to obtain a single unit if you are lucky enough to find one. If you do purchase the pieces note that it will not come with the necessary screws. You can use #8 trim screws available at your local auto parts store. You are looking at nearly $400 for the pieces of the console.

I have a center console I would sell, it is agate(dark grey). I took it out to put a nitrous bottle in its place. I have all the pieces incl. hardware, it is out of a 99 w/over 100k miles so it is a bit wore (no cuts or deep scratches, just a elbow indent in the top pad). I will sell it for $125.00.

I have an 01 with the center console, charcoal interior and am wanting to trade it for the center seat only if the carpeting is present under the console? and if the flip down arm rest on the center seat has storage. Anyone know if there is any issues with carpet? Havn't had mine up yet. What about arm rest?
