Subject: Smaller Sway bar 91-96 2wd IP: Logged
Message:
Are there any front anti-sway bars that are thinner (more flexible) than what I have on a 93 V8 2wd ex. cab from other year / engine / cab configurations?
Reason being...I installed the RC 2" lift (more like 3" lift) and the front suspension is TIGHT and I'm trying to get *some* articulation back. The front suspension is maxxed out and can only move upward an 1" or so ;-)
I shaved the upper bump stops, dropped the air pressure in the tires to 33 hot(which helped) and the ride got better. Now the only other area that I could modify is the sway bar so that diagonal crossings of driveways and cross gutters would be a little softer. Gonna try loosening the bushings up too, but a thinner bar should help a lot.
TIA,

Message: I'll give that a shot. THe extra spring tension should hole the body roll to a minimum =)
