 Subject: gas milage

I have a 1999 club cab 5.2L, I get about 11-14 mpg is that aveerage. If not what should I do to improve it (mods) for cheap. I already have a custom dual exaust with hi per. muffler.

well mine gets i'm thinking about 16 to 17...and all i've done is reprogrammed the computer...exhaust...intense performance stage 3 and when i changed my spark plugs to autolite 3923's i got better gas mileage..i noticed the biggest increasw when i added the new plugs...i was running accel plugs..and they weren't worn out i just replaced them and my gas mileage increased

kyle- Is the motor stock (unmodded) and is the exhaust true duals? If yes to both then that might be hurting your mpg.
