I have a 98 RT. Recently I blew the rear bushing on the trans. I replaced it myself. After putting the trans. back together I had a different problem. When I hit the gas to pass on the highway it down shifts like usual but doesn't engage and the engine will hit the rev limiter until I let off the the gas a little. Need help fast.

ummm.. you took apart your OD unit by yourself ..... that could be the start of the problem ........ if you dont get the shims right again you and in bad shape .......
