Message: Hey guys, I have a 92 V8 and when i start it up when its cold or when I accelerate hard i hear a noise, almost like a fan noise. I can feel the vibration on my feet.(hard to explain but it sounds like a small plane flying in the distance)does anyone know what is causing this

Message: My belts squeal alot when it is fairly cold, does this mean they are loose or need to be replaced?

Message: I'd say it could be your fan clutch. Squealing belts usually mean they're loose. If they've been squealing for some time, they may need to be replaced because they get glazed by the slipping.

Message: It might also be a bad bearing in your idler pulley.

Message: You might have hit the nail on the head! I have noticed that it is a little noisy around the pullys, but I thought that was just the nature of the beast. soon as it warms up i'm gonna take a closer look. thanks
