I am one of the proud owners of a Rumble bee Serial # 113 in fact and i have to say it is not just a 1500 with some eye candy ...yes it is the same Hemi as all the rest but a few other things come to play such as a little differant exaust and some handling tweeks ...I am in Canada so i can't speak for the US model but my very good bud has a 2002 5.9 with all the goodies but with only 400 miles on my bee and still very tight he has not come close yet and we have raced 3 times ...i am sure that after some more time and a few miles it will open up a bit more ....

Now don't get me wrong i am not saying it is the fastest thing on the street by no means but they are a mustang killer at the very least ....as to your race i am thinking the guy just put out close to 40 G's and was a bit reluctant to open it up on the first day.

Ya you just got to mess with that kickdown Wip it took my a good 5 times to get mine right. I think I am gonna get a fastman valvebody soon because they don't use a premade kit "more custom to your needs". Anyways since I raced that rumble bee I haven't seen him around but there are 2 SRT-10 running around town now I won't even try those guys, but give me a HEMI express or a Rumble bee or just about anything other than a L OR A SRT-10 and I feel pretty confident that I will win.

Metal,
I've got the kick down cable adjusted pretty good. It's still too slow to kick down into passing gear. There is a serious throttle lag that reasembles turbo lag in a turbo charged car. Below 45mph it isn't there. Get up to 55 or 60 and it takes a full second or 2 after you nail the throttle for it to kick into passing gear. After driving the 2002 4.7L RC 45re for almost 2 years it is annoying as hell to drive this 5.9L R/T with the 46re. I hope the shift kit helps it. If it is anything like the 727 I know I will be dissapointed with the results.

I did get my headers installed this weekend. It seems to have helped it from about 3500 to 4500rpm. It used to fall off bad after 4K. Now it falls off after 4500. I might try some 1.7 rockers instead of a cam to get that extra 500rpm. I want it to pull hard to 5k.
