Hi everyone,

I've been researching what engine I want to get, and what parts
to get for it. I've decided on a 360 Magnum. My question is,
what is an EGR? Which years did it come on? Why would I want
it/not want it? etc...

Thanks a lot.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation dilutes the incoming fuel/air mix with, you guessed it, exhaust gas. The reason its there is for lower emissions; the reason people don't like it is that a diluted mix means less power.

Alright, thanks.

So when I'm looking for an engine, I'll avoid the EGR. Do you
know what years since the 360 Magnum was introduced had the
EGR?
