My '95 came with the option of having an onboard computer with the overhead console, but does not have one. I called the local Dodge dealer here today and they can get the stuff, but said that the parts that go inside the console (not including the console) would run me $664.32! Is it just me, or is that a bit steep for an older unit? My '95 has everything EXCEPT that console, and I was hoping to add it. Heck, my friend John can order the computer console for his '01 vette for only $200!! So can anybody guide me as to where I should look for a good console for my truck, without paying so dang much?

I have an 01, and ordered mine w/o the overhead puter. Found one off this site, for my year Dak, for $80 shipped.
Funny thing is, the dealers told people it would be $600 to hook up! I hooked mine up for free. I still need the temp sensor to get that to work, but everything else works great! For $80!
A few people where very helpful from this site on the wiring for the install.
Do a search on this site for info.
Try a junk yard for the computer.

Thanks for the info. I'll chekc the yards around here and see if any of them have a wrecked '95. Big thing is, I need the color to match my truck. If I can't locate one, I'll contact you to see if both of us can find one. I thought $664 was a bit high for a truck that's nine years old!

You could try carparts.com for a lot of salvage yards online.
