I have a edelbrock intake off a older 360 and was wondering if the intake would work ok with my throtle body injection on my 1991 5.2. If not what is the best carb for the job, if that is easy to convert?

Jim: Should be fine as long as you route them properly (not draped across the headers). Remove the heat shields as well if they're still on the engine.

If you have high temp wires and boots, such as the Taylor ones, then you can remove the heat shields around the plugs...Bernd removed mine today to put on my headers.

The heat shields are "alleged" to protect the factory plug wires from the heat. However, with any high quality aftermarket wire, you really don't have to worry about the heat. Plus, the factory heat shields collect dirt, rocks, bugs, road derbis, etc., which can fall into the combustion chamber when you change the plugs.
