Hey guys need some assistance. I hooked up my NX electric nitrous gauge and would like to have it light up with my regular 12V dash lighting. To clarify, when I turn my running lights on I would like the NX gauge to light up with the dash.
Where is the best place to splice into the dash lighting? i.e. what coler is the wire and where can I find it? 99 Dakota R/T

The easiest to find might be the ash tray lamp, it will dim with the dash lights. Make sure you have a good ground. The wire is orange in colour, and has been for 30 or 40 yrs on Mopars.
