i have a friend that thinks his blazzin chevey full size truck witha v6 long bed single cab with 3.43 year on its 01 it has 200 hp i have a 93 dodge dakota single cab short bed with 3.55 with the 5.2 whod you think will win im just puting this on here to prove to my friend that id blow him off the road

A full size chevy with a 4.3? He'll blow your doors off dude! J/K...heheh
Unless he has nitrous hid somewhere you will have no problem. Your about 400lbs lighter than he is and about 30hp more. Not to mention about 50ft-lbs more torque than him. Don't beat him too bad.

I used to own a Gen 2 Dak, '93 with 3.9 V6, 5 spd, 3.55 Suregrip, standard cab, shortbed Sport. With only a catback system (3") and a 5.2 V8 throttlebody on it, I would smoke full size Chebby's with 350's all day long. 4.3 S10's didn't have a chance. It would run 15.50's in the quarter on street radials, with lousy 60 ft. times (spinning all the way through 1st and most of 2nd gears).

i can't believe it,i'm agreeing with whiplash.but about the modded 3.9 beating 350's,it would have to be a TBI 350 that wasn't really modded.the vortech 350's would give you more than you'd want.but anyway the 4.3 in a fullsize is a bad idea anyway.i don't understand why somebody would be that cheap
