Subject: Air Force One Intakes IP: Logged
Message: Looking to get an intake for my 03 4.7 Dakota. Had bad experience with a 360AirIntakez. I was leaning towards the K&N, but would like something with a stainless steel or aluminum tube. Does anyone have an Air Force One intake installed?

Message: The reason most manufacturers use composite tubing is because metal conducts heat very well. Heat is the last thing you want to do to the intake air. Except for startup during cold weather.

Message: you mean for those little filters? go to the rice section at your nearest autozone or checker or pep boys, its the little breather filters, they will require alittle work to open them up a bit to fit. the part # for the main filter is
air raid 720-440 its $60.00 . sounds like im packin a 4 barrel under the hood.

Message: midnightmagic, is that a little rubbage action above the "I D" in AIRAID. not that it matters either way, just wondering if the hood rubs a little bit.
