2000 QC, heavy and all the HD stuff, 4500#,
3.92, Hooker Super Comps, 1.7 RR, MP PCM, bumped
timing, UD pulleys, M1 4 Barrel, 4 barrel TB,
$5 14" air cleaner (no oil to change), best time
with 5000 RPM shifts 15.0, 90 MPH. Would
probably turn low 14s with a converter and
narrow front wheels.

The front frame horns on Durangos & Dakotas are designed more as a part of the front crumple zone than as a structural frame component. Rumor has it that there have been a significant enough number of people laying claims against DC that they discontinued their front tow hook kit because of it.

Now, this isn't saying that with some bracing that a plow could not be reliably used, I am just throwing it out there as an FYI. Speaking for myself, I have a 9,000lb Warn winch mounted on the front end, but there are some reinforcements made by the Warn grill guard I am running.
