I am also getting ready for the track. I have heard of some people putting a smaller bet on when they rase. I am guessing for just the crank and the water pump. I was wondering what do I ask for when i go to get it. What that belt usually goes on. Thanks for all the help.

The only mod I've seen involved getting a belt for the same package, but without air-conditioning. Certainly, if you could find one much shorter, you could cut the power steering and alt. out as well for the runs.

That is what i thought too. I am sure there has to be something out there better than just a belt without ac.

At the track, I run with a short belt that bypasses the a/c and the ps. HTH.
