i don't know who gus was talking to,but unless its a modded pre-magnum 360 he's probably not gonna blow the doors off of much of anything.if i remember right the old 360's were rated at 190hp(?),he should still be able to beat a 3/4 ton chevy,i hope.either way if you've got a loaded 454 in your bed i feel a 16sec.run commin'.

well lets hear it how your 360 190 hp 250 fpt is going to beat my 454 with 350 hp and 480 fpt ive had it on a dyno these extras that i have onit our all out side the engine the only way your dodge trucks are going to keep up is if they put that hemi in your little dakotas then it might have enought power to weight to actually beat mine but i dout they will do that the hemi is a joke i rebuild transmissions for a liveing and dodges are my bread and butter ive rebuilt more of them then any other brand combined. now go make fun of me and say im a whore and what ever els you need to say to make your self feel better but it all comes down to is chevy makes better products thathold up longer im not saying that dodges are junk because ive owned them both and there not junk but they just dont seem to hold up near as well and like i said i repair so many dodge cars and trucks that its made me pretty wealthy and now that i have enought money i dont have to short hand my self and by a cheaper dodge i get the good stuff and i hope one of these days you all will be able to do so

Your a ROCKET SCIENTIST! I never would have thought a souped up 454 w/350hp could beat a STOCK 360 with 190HP. I guess they did teach those CHEVY Engineers something after all....I bet they even had a special bus just for you to ride on.

I'm assuming since you're so rich that you got an extended cab. The 454 3/4ton Xcab Chevy weighs 5556lbs. With 350hp that means you have 15.9lb/hp.
Wow, that's so impressive. I'm sure you blow the doors off everyone red-light to red-light. Especially since NO ONE is even going to look at a 3/4ton CHEVY sitting next to them at a red-light. All those races you win are because no one knows your even running against them.
There are several 4.7L DAk's making over 250RWHP with very vew modifications. That's 15#/hp. We won't even mention what a slightly modified R/T will do. A 4.7L will kick your a$$.

i have an r/t,and i would go race and beat your ass,except there is one problem.I DONT CARE!you drive a 3/4 ton.if you pulled up to me at a light revving like a jackass,not only would i laugh in your face,id probably flip you off as well.
why do all these chevy and ford guys come on this site and make "insightful" statements about how great their brand is?must be penis envy or something.dodge dominates with the viper,the srt-10 truck,and the srt-4 neon now.and im not so sure that dodges diesels arent better work trucks.do know that chevy ssr is a slow piece,so is the ss silverado,and thats about all chevy has, personally i think corvettes are just a brand of their own now,i wouldnt want to be affiliated with the new weak version of general motors.

Actually, I'm quite satisfied with the performance of my truck. It hasn't let me down yet. It's best time is 15.0, but it's 100% stock.
When I start having Fords and Chevy's beating me on a regular basis I will add a PCM Flash, R/T cam, and remove the fan. Those 3 things alone will bump my RWHP to over 250. That will put me in the 15.7-15.9#/hp bracket. So for less than $1,000.00 I will be where your at performance wise.
What color is your truck?
