2 weeks ago I smelled burning oil. I pulled over and popped the hood and saw that the majority of the passanger(rear) side of the engine bay was covered oil. I took it into the dealship and after 3 days, they decided that the pvc valve hose had become lose so they replaced it. Well today, the same thing happened. Only this time it was most of the engine bay that was covered in oil and the dipstick was pushed half way out. I took it back to the dealer today and after 30 minutes of looking it over, one tech said the problem was from the air intake(intense performance stage 2).
The filter doesn't have anything to do with this problem... does it? The temps durring both occurrances have been around zero degrees. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Please help.

Sounds like crankcase is pressurizing - check PCV valve and hoses - valve should rattle freely, hose(s) unobstructed. Also check crankcase vent lines (run from either side rear of heads, join to one line that should be hooked to your air intake pipe) for blockage/obstruction.

ScottE, thanks for the response.

I got the truck back yesterday and the dealership said the PCV valve was frozen. Three other rams and dakotas were serviced for the same exact thing that day.
