Subject: Lights IP: Logged
Message: Do all daks have a problem of not throwing enough light? ANy aftermarket headlights? I've tried 65/110's to no avail.

Message: If the high power bulbs (which are not DoT legal) are not enough, you'll have to use off road aux. lights. Realizing, of course, that they will not be DoT legal, eighter.
Maybe consider slowing down at night, or getting better glasses :)

Message: I don't even get anyone flashing me driving on 100watt high beams! I think I need some sort of total replacement lights. The plastic covers aren't damaged.

Message: If you have 100W bulbs from a reputable manufacturer and visibility is poor and nobody flashes back, there's a problem. And it's not with the bulb. First off, check all your grounds. The most common cause of poor lighting performance is a bad ground. Second, make sure they are aimed correctly. Take your truck to a shop that has that little aiming device, it's worth $10. Don't waste any more money on new parts until you check those two things.
