Message: Correct tire pressure; recent correct spark plugs; less restrictive air intake/ exhaust; drive under 70mph on highway; "truck driver" slowdown at stop lights; part-throttle acceleration.

Message: Lets see, it's not really all that hard...
bigger bore TB
cold air intake
tornado
headers
good 100% syn in everything "rear end, tranny, transfercases, and engine
bosch quad plugs, wires, cap, and rotor
ignition upgrade
relocate IAT to intake tubing
upgrade exhaust
rr's
roller timing chain setup
Just bassically anyway to get less friction, more air in and out without turning up fuel too much, better spark, and on and on... Bassically fuel milleage comes with better and efficient hp... I have been told by Larry on here that if you really want good fuel milleage just change your intake to where it sucks in hot air from your radiator, that some wither smaller vehicles were doing this going from 20mpg to mid 30mpg... BUT as you know this will ruin hp :P Kinda contradicts my previous statement now don't it :)) BUT the syn, spark, and air will all help more than anything...
Well anyway...

Fuel economy can be very difficult for the consumer to accurately gauge. Once again, it has been proven by AMSOIL and others, through use of industry accepted fuel economy tests, field demonstrations, and as witnessed by most of our customers .... that switching to synthetics DO IN FACT show a fuel economy increase = better MPG.

Message: My solution to gas mileage has been "take the bus". My truck is great for long vacation trips, hauling firewood and motorcycles, and trailriding .... but is awful for a daily commuter. Not to mention, the nap on the bus is always nice. :o)
