Subject: Air Fuel Ratio Gauges IP: Logged
Message: hey guys i recently bought a 3 gauge pod and 3 digital gauges from dynotune.org very good quality and in expensive Electrical gauges (do not compare these gauges to mechanical gauges other wise they dont seem cheap) any way one of the gauges that i got was an Air fuel Ratio Gauge. and this gauge hooks in to your O2 sensor. W/ My 2001 R/t I have 2 02 sensors which one do i hook the sensor in to? or can i get a single reading from both sensors @ the computer does any one know where i could get a wiring diagram??

Message: Dunno about your 5.9 R/T. But since it's brought up I found out my 2003 has some sort of wide band O2 sensors. The gauge works on sensors ranging from 0 to 1 volt. So they don;t work on the new sensors.
I bought a single wire O2 sensor to hook up discretely to my air/fuel gauge. I haven;t got around to doing it yet. It's been sitting in my garage for a month or so.
Now that soemone mentioned it, I may do the mod this weekend. If so I'll post pics and results here as always.
I always "take one for the team". I'll let you know if it goes well or not.

Message: 01sweetRT;
It don't matter. I have one on my truck, 02 Dak SLT 4.7. It only needs to connect to one or the other. Mine is connected to the one on the driver's side.
Hope this helps...

Message: I have a'98 with a 5.2 and single exhaust with 2 sensors. I hooked 2 gauges up. You'll get a better reading on the first one. The second one just seems to have 2 settings, rich and lean.
I cut into the harness on the firewall just before the computer.

Message: Did you guys have the digital one or a mechanical diplay on your gauges and how much did they jump around or did it read fairly smooth?
I may finally install mine this weekend after the dealer does the maintenance.
I have to cut a hole in my exhaut and weld in a threaded adapter for my aftermarket O2 sensor.
I will take pictures of the entire project like I always do and post them HERE.
