Message: Has anyone ever tried these cheaper intake sensoe mods?

I've seen them on ebay for around $10-$15 which claims it tricks the stock sensor in thinking the air is cooler that is coming into the engine. Worth a shoot for the price but wasn't sure if anyone else has already had experience with them.
